Gothenburg, Sweden – February 23, 2024 – The French dominated when the weekend’s first international jumping classes were decided in Scandinavium. In this week’s first international show jumping class presented by Hööks, the €28,380 Hööks Prize CSI 5*-W, riders got to know the arena and warmed up for the week’s upcoming challenges.
The class was against the clock and though the Swedish home riders delivered fast rounds and did their best, the victory went to France Julien Anquetin (FRA), who guided Farah Tame towards victory in flawless fashion in 54.40 seconds.
Douglas Lindelöw (SWE) and Cheldon were also clean all the way to the wire, finishing second in 54.73 while Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) and Lyjanair rounded out the top three in 58.35 seconds.
