Martin Fuchs & Bastille Blaze to Claim the Royal Bliss Trophy CSI 4*

Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 23, 2024 – Top Swiss rider, Martin Fuchs (SUI), who is sixth in the Longines Rankings, had an impressive win in the €29,100 Royal Bliss Trophy CSI 4*, a 1.50 Ranking class today, in the main, David Broome arena.  His mount was the super Bastille, who is owned by  Luigi Baleri. 

The Swiss and the 10-year-old bay Oldenburg mare (Balou du Rouet x Chacco-Blue) stopped the timers in 67.79 seconds pushing top French rider, Pénélope Leprévost (SUI) and Djagger Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Apache d’Adriers) into second place with a lovely round in 68.53 seconds. After winning yesterday’s 1.50 class, Penelope continues her great success here with this mare.

Third place in this Royal Bliss Trophy class was another Swiss rider, Anthony Bourquard (SUI) with Ecuador de la Cense while fourth place was claimed byJoão Víctor Castro (BRA) on Charon Van Moeshof and fifth was Michael Greeve (NED) with Denver.
