Grimaud, Saint Tropez, France – May 06, 2023 – Nicola Pohl (GER) and Arlo de Blondel powered past the competition in the €26,200 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 3* on Saturday during the second week of the Spring Tour series at Hubside Jumping de Grimaud`s CSI 3* & CSI 2*.

Riding the 2010 chestnut Selle Français gelding (Tlaloc M x Kassidi x M. Michel Ruel), Pohl powered past two outstandings Irishmen and 9 other combinations who had advanced to the tiebreaker, leaving all the poles before crossing the finish line in 38.49 seconds.

Trevor Breen (IRL) and Germaine W (Eldorado Vd Zeshoek x Armstrong) were the closest ones, matching the clean scorecard of the eventual winners before finishing second in 38.79 seconds.

Cian O`Connor (IRL) was the other Irish rider to make it to the top three. He guided Eve d`Ouilly (Qlassic Bois Margot x Poor Boy) over all the 1.45m obstacles on his way to completing their second penalty-free performance in 38.99 seconds.
