Brazil is the Best! Pedro Veniss Victorious in the €60,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 3*

Grimaud, Saint Tropez, France – May 07, 2023 – Pedro Veniss (BRA) Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Junior were back to their winning ways at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud – Saint Tropez CSI 3* & CSI 2* on Sunday, claiming the title in the feature class of the week, the €60,000 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 3*.

A total of 47 combinations had entered the ring during the first round of the 1.55m contest, facing the challenging course designed by Stefano Morriale (ITA) but only seven of them advanced to the tiebreaker, and ultimately the top five all duplicating clean performances the second time around.

After having powered past the competition towards victory last Thursday in the €26,200 Hubside Special Two-Phase Challenge CSI 3*, Veniss was victorious again with the 2009 Oldenburg stallion (Böckmann’s Lord Pezi x Quattro 7), this time in 37.51 seconds.

Kim Emmen (NED) & Delvaux

Kim Emmen (NED) and Delvaux (Chacco-Blue x Lancer II) tried to give the eventual winners a run for their money, falling just short due to their jump-off time of 37.78 seconds, a mark that ended up earning them second place.

Trevor Breen (IRL) & Highland President

Once again, Trevor Breen (IRL) was back on the podium again. After finishing third yesterday in the €26,200 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 3*, he conquered another bronze medal. This time, Breen rode Highland President (Clinton x Kannan) in impecable form again, registering two penalty-free performance while securing third place in 38.62 seconds.
