
Valence, France – December 03, 2021 – Before going on to win the €25,400 Hubside Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Caracole de La Roque claimed their first of two wins at the Hubside Jumping Winter Tour CSI 4* & 2*. This time, the Flying Frenchman and the 2012 bay Selle Français mare (Zandor Z x Kannan *GFE) were supreme in the €25,400 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 2*. The dynamic duo cleared all the 1.45m obstacles before crossing the finish line in 38.82 seconds.
Winners of the the €25,400 Hubside Jump-Off Challenge CSI 2* eight days before, Jean Luc Mourier (FRA) and Captain Keen (Windows vh Costersveld x Acord II) came close to scoring another win. This time Mourier had to settle for second backed by a penalty-free jump-off effort in 39.41 seconds.
Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) and Denerys du Montceau (L’Arc de Triomphe*Bois Margot x Rox de La Touche) completed the all-French podium, registering no penalties in 39.54 at the end of their second performance.
