Edward Levy & Sirius Black Thrive in €56,650 Longines Grand Prix CSI 3* at Deauville

Deauville, France – August 15, 2020 – Edward Levy (FRA) got a huge weight off his shoulders during the Longines Deauville Classic CSI 3* at the Pôle international du Cheval Longines – Deauville. After having two grand prix victories snatched away from him recently, the Frenchman guided Sirius Black to win the €56,650 Longines Grand Prix of the Region of Normandy CSI 3*.

Levy and the 14-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Calisco du Pitray x Laudanum) registered the fastest penalty-free jump-off effort among the 11 combinations that had qualified for the decisive, going through the final timers in 40.27 seconds.

José Maria Larocca (ARG) and Finn Lente (Gaillard de La pomme x Colandro) secured the second spot on the podium, matching the winners’ double clear while posting a time of 40.61 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Scott Brash (GBR) and Hello Vincent (Consul Dl Vie Z x Fergar Mail) completed the podium with no penalties too, crossing the finish line in 40.87 seconds.
