
Deauville, France – August 16, 2020 – The Longines Deauville Classic CSI 3* came to an end on Sunday at the Pôle International du Cheval Longines – Deauville with a victory for the host nation. Marie Pellegrin (FRA) and Valentino des Bleus, claiming top honors in the the €12,100 Regar2Moi Prize, the Small Grand Prix CSI 3*.
Pellegrin and the 11-year-old chestnut Selle Français gelding (Flipper D’elle x Nitchou Des Orcets) advanced and completed the jump-off without having any penalties attributed to them, breaking the beam of the jump-off timers in 36.29 seconds.
Pénélope Leprevost (FRA) and Andiamo Semilly (Diamant de Semilly x Muguet du Manoir) were the closest ones, finishing second due to their time of 37.42 seconds during the tiebreaker.
Juan Ramos (ARG) and Iorio (Shindler de Muze x Jalisco B) completed the podium backed by two penalty-free performances, the second one in 37.60 seconds.
