Sharjah, The United Arab Emirates – Thursday, February 06, 2020 – Abdel Said (EGY) and Arpege du Ru triumphed in the €58,900 Longines Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 5* last Thursday during the H.H. The Ruler of Sharjah Cup CSI 5*-W/2* at the Sharjah Racing Club in The United Arab Emirates.

The Egyptian and the 10-year-old chestnut Selle Français mare (Apache d’Adriers x Quat’Sous) soared over the 1.50m obstacles while blazing through the speed course, registering no penalties in 56.06 seconds for the victory.

Christian Ahlmann (GER) & Solid Gold Z

Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Solid Gold Z (Stakkato Gold x Calvin Z) earned silver honors, the only difference being their time of 57.77 seconds.

Jack Ryan (IRL) & Essenar High Hopes

Jack Ryan (IRL) and Essenar High Hopes (Phin Phin x Indoctro) rounded out the top three backed by a penalty-free performance in 58.09 seconds.
