Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – Friday, February 07, 2020 – Laura Renwick (GBR) and Arkuga triumphed in the €25,600 Jump-off Class CSI 3* today during the second week of competition of the Vilamoura Atlantic Tour at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Brit and the 9-year-old bay Anglo-European Sport Horse gelding (Arko III x Heartbreaker) earned top honors by going lightning fast, yet completing the both sections of the 1.45m challenge flawlessly, stopping the final timers in 36.92 seconds.

Jerome Hurel (FRA) and Icarus V’T Klavertje Vier (Bentley x Palestro Vd Begijnakker) were the closest ones, registering a combined score of no penalties while crossing the finish line in 37.21 seconds for silver honors.

David Simpson (IRL) and Jenson 55 (Verdi TN x Padinus) secured the third spot on the podium after a clean performance all the way to the end,  tripping the timers in 37.84 seconds at the end of the second phase.
