Steve Guerdat’s Top Horse Leaves His Stables for Mexico

FEI Longines Nations Cup equestrain event in Barcelona

Geneva, Switzerland – January 31, 2020 – Steve Guerdat (SUI) has lost one of his top horses as Alamo returned to his owners in Mexico. The Swiss and the 12-year-old black Dutch Warmblood gelding (Ukato x Equador) had been partnered since the month of October in 2017, going on to win 8 FEI-level classes together.

Guerdat believed in Alamo, in fact, chose him to compete in the 2018 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final – Barcelona CSIO 5*. However, this was not the highlight of their partnership. The duo won 2019 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final Gothenburg CSI 5*-W and the Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final during the CHI of Geneva 5*.
