Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – February 06, 2025 – German rider Daniel Deusser (GER) and his stallion Bingo Ste. Hermelle, son of Number One D’Iso x Diamant de Semilly, snatched victory from his compatriot Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) on Thursday as the 2025 Andalucía Sunshine Tour got underway.

Brinkop, riding Ma Belle (Ugano Sitte x Bayard D’Elle), had set an incredible time to beat of 57.79 seconds at the start of the Big Tour Speed Challenge CSI 4*. As the event progressed, her time seemed unbeatable, but in the final stretch, Deusser managed to shave off more than a second and a half, finishing the course in just 56.18 seconds. This was the debut of the main green arena, David Broome, in this XXXI Andalucía Sunshine Tour.

With a time of 64.12 seconds, far from the top contenders, Belgian rider Gilles Thomas (BEL) finished third with Elfra Van Beek Z (El Salvador x Vagabond de la Pomme).

His compatriot Roy Van Beek, riding Diamant de Quidam – H Old (Diamant de Semilly’ x Quidam de Revel), secured fourth place. Completing the podium was Sweden’s Antonia Andersson (SWE) with Bella PS (Messenger x Contendros 2).

1) Daniel Deusser (GER) & Bingo Ste Hermelle – 0 / 0 – 56.18

2) Kendra Claricia Brinkop (GER) & Ma Belle – 0 / 0 – 57.79

3) Gilles Thomas (BEL) & Elfra Van Beek Z – 0 / 0 – 64.12
