Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Canada — September 07, 2024 — Before going on to win the $445,000 BMO Nations Cup CSIO 5* with his fellow German teammates, Germany’s Daniel Deusser (GER), claimed his first win of the day in the $120,000 Suncor Winning Round CSIO 4* with stallion Bingo STE Hermelle.

They beat a starting lineup of 28 horse-rider pairings, topping a ten-horse jump-off, on Palacios’ course, featuring 12 jumps and 15 efforts.

British besties Matthew Sampson (GBR) and Donald Whitaker (GBR) came second and third after being pipped by the German. Sampson was riding gelding Fabrice DN while Whitaker was on mare Ulania 3.
