Geneva, Switzerland – December 07, 2023 – Victor Bettendorf (LUX) took the CHI Geneva 5* by storm on Friday, claiming the first two FEI-classes of the renowned showjumping event. After winning the CHF $10,100 Radio Lac Prize CSI 5* with Big Star des Forêts, Bettendorf was victorious again, this time teaming up with Astuce de La Roque for top honors in the CHF $10,100 Swiss Wine Genève CSI 5*.

To do so, the fast rider and the 2010 bay Selle Français mare (Kannan x Quick Star) had to overcome 50 other combinations in the 1.45 two-phase challenge, going clear all the way to the finish line while registering 26.20 seconds at the end of the second section of the course.

Pius Schwizer (SUI) and Just Special V gave some of the Swiss students attending the event something to cheer about, finishing second in 27.45 seconds.

Once again, France claimed the third spot on the podium and this time it was Julien Gonin (FRA) and Estrella de La Batia responsible for the feat, completing the final part of the contest in flawless fashion and in 27.86 seconds.
