
Wellington, Florida, USA โ December 01, 2023 โ The International Arena of the Wellington International was home to some of the biggest names of the noble sport from Wednesday to Sunday as it hosted the ESP Holiday & Horses CSI 4*.
Jumper competition continued Friday morning with the $39,000 Score at the Top 1.45m taking place in the International Arena. Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA) ran away with the win aboard Lord Lucio, owned by Astemis Equestrian Farm.
A total of thirty-two entries tested the course with nearly half putting in a clear ride. Twelfth to test the course was Pessoa and his mount, Lord Lucio, laying down the quickest clear ride with a time of 64.01 seconds.
Caroline Mawhinney (USA) had a clean effort in 65.27 seconds with her own entry, Stella Levista, for the second-place title.
Winner of the $50,000ย TRMย Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 4* the previous day, Luiz Francisco de Azevedo (BRA) earned another top three finish, this time by riding HFG Quaman, the Santa Cecilia Stables-owned entry, stopping the timers in 65.60 seconds.ย ย
