Lanaken, Belgium – September 21, 2023 – Domein Zangersheide has announced that Christian Ahlmann (GER) was forced to pull of competing on home soil this week. The news was confirmed according to the following statement on the Zangersheide website:
“Due to a fall earlier this week, Christian Ahlmann (GER) has to be absent from the FEI WFBSH Jumping World Breeding Championships for Young Horses this week.
The top German rider occupies at least one podium step with Zangersheide breeding products at the World Championships almost every year. His absence therefore does not go unnoticed.
With his injury, the Z-rider tried to take part after all, but to his regret he had to decide this afternoon not to continue participating in the classes at Domein Zangersheide.”
On behalf of Jumper News, we wish Christian Ahlmann (GER) a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in the ring soon.
