Riesenbeck, Germany – July 22, 2023 – Before going on to win the €100,000 Grand Prix of Surenburg CSI 3*, Katrin Eckermann (GER) and Chao Lee delivered their first of two knock out winning performances last Friday, claiming top honors in the €52,600 Ludgers Pferdefutter Trophy CSI 3*at the Riesenbeck International CSI 3*.
The German and the stunning 10-year-old Rhinelander mare (Comme Il Faut x Chacco-Blue) were supreme against 8 combinations in the tiebreaker, not only being the fastest duo but also leaving all the poles up for the second time, blazing across the finish line in 38.17 seconds.
Marco Kutscher (GER) and Aventador S (Armitage 2 x Charming Boy 38) were clean and quick all the way to the wire too, but their time of 38.59 seconds was improved only by the eventual winners.
After a second-place finish in the €100,000 Grand Prix de La Ville de Chantilly CSI 4* the previous week, Parrandero powered Giavanna Rinaldi (USA) towards two impecable rounds, earning bronze honors in 38.94 seconds.
