
Megève, France – July 23, 2023 – A great week of top sport came to an end on Sunday at the Jumping International de Megève CSI 3* as Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) and Eldorado Sunheup Z rode towards victory in the €39,950 Grand Prix of Megève CSI 3*.

Fifty-four combinations lined up for the 1.50m contest but it was the Frenchman and the 10-year-old bay Zangersheide gelding (Eldorado van de Zeshoek x Quartz du Chanu) who produced the fastest clean performance amongst the five pairs who had advanced to the decisive round, doing so in 40.88 seconds for the win.
It was a one-two for the host nation as Olivier Robert (FRA) and Careca LS Elite (Carusso LS La Silla x Rebozo La Silla) matched the clean scorecard of the winning pair, earning reserve honors only twelve-hundredths of a second behind, crossing the finishing line in 41 seconds flat.
Romain Duguet (SUI) and Bel Canto de Boguin (Grenat de Grez HN x Pierreville) were the only other pair to post two penalty-free performances, rounding out the top three in 41.26 seconds.
