Rome, Italy – May 24, 2023 – The countdown is over as the 2023 edition of the CSIO 5* of Rome gets underway this Thursday at Piazza di Siena in the historic Italian capital. Led by the current World Champion, Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), the gladiators are ready to battle for gold & glory. The list of stellar names who have been confirmed to compete includes the likes of: Steve Guerdat (SUI), Lorenzo de Luca (ITA), Peder Fredricson (SWE), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Ben Maher (GBR), Daniel Deusser (GER), Harrie Smolders (NED), Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA), Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Andre Thieme (GER), Julien Epaillard (FRA), Simon Delestre (FRA), Kevin Staut (FRA), Edwina Tops Alexander (AUS), Marlon Zanotelli (BRA), Laura Kraut (USA), Max Kuhner (AUT), Jérôme Guery (BEL), Michael Pender (IRL), Daniel Bluman (ISR), Jessica Springsteen (USA), amongst others.
