
Grimaud, Saint Tropez, France – May 05, 2023 – Edward Levy (FRA) has been one of the winningest rider at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud venue since its insertion into the calendar of FEI-level international events and it was no different on Friday as the Frenchman rode Igins du Seigneur to first place in the €26,200 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 3*.
Forty-six combinations representing 15 different nations were tested in the first round of the 1.50m constest on a course designed by Stefano Morriale (ITA). A total of 4 of the seven pairs who had advanced to the tiebreaker managed to reproduce clean rounds in the tiebreaker. In the end, it was the Frenchman who prevailed on the 2014 bay Selle Français stallion (Inshallah de Muze x Ogano Sitte), doing so in 39.06 seconds.

It was a battle of two Frenchmen for the highest postion on the podium. Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) and Stella de Preuilly (Baloubet du Rouet x Apache d’Adriers) were just over a second slower, thus finishing in second place due to their time of 40.13 seconds.

The podium was completed by a young Belgian rider on the rise. Zoe Conter (BEL) guided Natan Van’T Laarhof (Thunder Vd Zuuthoeve x Epleaser Van’T Heike ) in flawless fashion too, conquering bronze honors in 40.89 seconds.
