Grimaud, France – April 29, 2023 – Déjà Vu! They say that lightning doesn`t strike the same place twice but that`s not true for Pénélope Leprévost (FRA) at the Hubside Jumping de Grimaud – Golfe de Saint Tropez CSI 3* & CSI 2*. After winning the  €26,200 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 3* with GFE Candy de Nantuel the previous day, the outstanding French rider was back on top, this time teaming up with Fantantastic de La Roque Z for top honors in the €26,200 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 3*.

Going up against seven of the 8 combinations who had qualified for the tiebreaker of the 1.45m contest, Pénélope and the 2014 chestnut Zangersheide mare (For Hero*de Hus x Heartbreaker) rode triumphantly across the finish line at the end of their jump-off performance, conquering first place in 39.99 seconds.

Only three-hundredths of a second separated the next two highest-place combinations. Jos Verlooy (BEL) and Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) nipped Alexandre Fontanelle (FRA) and Hamlet Cooper (Casall x Heartbreaker), both registering no penalties and times of 41.10 and 41.13 for silver and bronze honors.
