
‘s-Hertogenbosch – The Netherlands – March 10, 2023 – Frenchman Julien Epaillard (FRA), the number 3 rider in the world ranking, is undoubtedly the rider with the highest number of victories in the past year. But he is piling up the victories in 2023 as well. In the €26,200 Gemeente ‘s-Hertogenbosch Prize CSI 5*, a 1.45m course against the clock, he rode the 10-year-old Selle Français mare Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly) clear in 53.87 seconds.
The other two top spots on the podium were claimed by combinations representing who left all the poles up for no penalties too. Leopold van Asten (NED) finished in second with place with VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Chacco-Blue x Aldatus) in a time of 54.30 seconds while Simon Delestre (FRA) and Tinka’s Hero Z (Tinka’s Boy x Caretino) completed the podium in 55.70 seconds.
