Vilamoura, Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – October 23, 2022 –Guy Williams (GBR) and Ernie Of Greenhill Z galloped for the win in the Z €100,000 Grand Prix of VillaMoura CSI 3* last Sunday during the second week of the 2022 Villamoura Champions Tour at the VillaMoura Equestrian Centre.

Williams (GBR) and the 2012 bay Zangersheide gelding (Emerald x Caretino) were supreme in the 1.50m challenge, powering past five other combinations for the top spot on the podium due to their penalty-free performance in 42.01 seconds.

Adrian Speight (GBR) and Millfield Baloney (Balou du Rouet x Kanudos) matched the clean scorecard of the eventual winners, being almost a full second slower (42.98s) for reserver honors.

A multiple grand prix winner at the venue, Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) was consistent again, this time riding Carpe Diem J&F (Casall x Concerto II) towards bronze honors, registering no penalties and a jump-off time of 43.47 seconds.
