Francisco José Mesquita Musa Can’t Be Caught in the €26,000 Prix Wilaya Region Rabat Sale Kenitra CSIO 4*-W

Rabat, Morocco – October 13, 2022 – Victory for the Brazilian Francisco José Mesquita Musa (BRA), in the “big class” of the day, the €26,000 Prix Wilaya Region Rabat Sale Kenitra CSIO 4* during the first day of the CSIO 4*-W of Rabat ahead of the Dutch Leon Thijssen (NED) on For President. Nice performance of the Moroccan El Ghali Boukaa (MAR), who was 3rd with A Kyss.

The Brazilian and Catch Me Marathon, a 2008 dark bay Hanoverian mare (Contagio x Werther), were supreme in the contest by clearing all the 1.45m obstacles and completing the course flawlessly in 66.38 seconds.

Leon Thijssen (NED) & For President

Leon Thijssen (NED) and For President (Numero Uno x Nimmerdor) secured silver honors in 68.90 seconds.

El Ghali Boukaa (MAR) & A Kyss

El Ghali Boukaa (MAR) and A Kyss (Diamant de Semilly x Cabdula du Tillard) rounded out the top three in 69.41 seconds.

This speed class was a qualifier for the Grand Prix and among the eliminated riders were the French Charles Henri Ferme (FRA) and Guillaume Batillat (FRA), but also the winner of the Grand Prix of Tetouan, the Moroccan Abdelkebir Ouaddar (MAR) and the Swiss Niklaus Schurtenburger (SUI), 2nd in Tetouan! The only survivor of the podium of the first stage, Simon Delestre (FRA) waas 8th today with I Amelusina R 51.
