Daniel Deusser & Bingo Ste Hermelle Do It What Takes to Win the €25,500 Pearl Stakes CSI 5*

Windsor, England – May 13 , 2022 – Daniel Deusser (GER) and Bingo Ste. Hermelle were at their very best on Friday at the Royal Windsor Horse Show CSI 5*. Against some of the best combinations in the world, the dynamic duo topped the €25,500 Pearl Stakes CSI 5*.

As the third pair to go in the jump-off, the German and the 2011 chestnut Selle Français stallion (Number One d’Iso x Diamant de Semilly) triumphed in the 1.55 challenge backed by a blazing penalty-free jump-off run in 36.32 seconds.

Most riders that followed did try to overcome Deusser, moreover, two were even faster but all suffered the same fate, having at least one pole down. Jos Verlooy (BEL) was less agressive aboard Luciano van het Geinsteinde (Quinn van de Heffinck x Air Jordan) and it paid off. A second-finish was secured as the result of their second clean performance, this time in 37.46 seconds.

English spectators were delighted by John Whitaker‘s (GBR) third-place finish in the highy-contest class. The legendary rider showcased his brilliance aboard Equine America Unick du Francport ( Zandor x Helios de La Cour II), producing two fault-free performances and a final time of 37.80 seconds.
