Richard Vogel Races to Victory Again! Triumphant in €25,500 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2*

Riesenbeck, Germany – May 01, 2022 – Richard Vogel (GER) is one of the young superstars of German showjumping and the young rider prevailed again on home soil. Thirty-three combinations participated in the 1.45m challenge but only twelve of them advanced to the tiebreaker. In the decisive round, the speedy German blazed across the track aboard the chestnut Westphalian gelding (Comme il faut x Baloubet du Rouet)

Second place was claimed by home jockey Eoin McMahon (IRL) on Chacon (Chacco-Blue x Aventyno), who matched the clean scorecard of the eventual winners but were over a second slower in the jump-off, earning silver honors in 38.15 seconds.

The host nation managed to put two of their own on the podium as Hans-Thorben Rüder (GER) rode Singu (Singulord Joter x Parco) towards bronze honors, backed by a penalty-free jump-off performance in 39.25 seconds.
