Scott Brash & Hello Mr. President Rule the Day at the Hubside Jumping CSI 5*

Grimaud, France – April 16, 2022 – In the middle of the campaign between two rounds of the French presidential elections, the Hubside Jumping Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez crowned this afternoon, in the major event of the CSI 5*… a subject of His Majesty and his Hello Mr. President. Starting in the middle of the jump-off, the Scotsman Scott Brash (GBR), current world number 10, at the controls of his thirteen-year-old gelding, could not be caught, claiming the win in the €51,500 Hubside Jump-off Challenge CSI 5*.

Scott was brash and bold aboard the 2009 bay Anglo-European Sporthorse gelding (Comme d’Api V/D Hacienda Z x Unknown Dam’s Sire) in the tiebreaker, speeding towards the finish line in 36.81 seconds for the victory.

Scott finished ahead of the Austrian Max Kühner (AUT), fifteenth in the world, who rode Up Too Jacco Blue (Chacco-Blue) for the second spot on the podium, posting a clean jump-off performance in 36.96 seconds.

After winning the €55,000 Hubside Speed Challenge CSI 5* aboard Stalognia once again, Rene Lopez Lizarazo (COL) showed consitency, this time securing the third position in the saddle on Kheros Van’T Hoogeinde (Echo Van T Spieveld x Darco), doing so in 37,94 seconds.

Scott Brash (GBR) & Hello Mr President

Hello Mr President jumped crazy today. Naturally he is very very very fast, and I just had to stick to my initial plan, in the jump-off, and that was enough. Currently I have to recognize that he is in particularly good shape: he jumped three days in a row here, at the Hubside Jumping Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez, and each day was better than the previous one, as he proved again today today. Tomorrow, in the Grand Prix, I will be associated with Hello Jefferson.”
