Oliva Nova, Spain – February 17, 2022 – The first major class of the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring Tour II was held on Thursday at the sunny venue along the coast of the Mediterranean and it was Julien Epaillard (FRA) annihilated the competition. Despite the challenge from fellow flying Frenchman Nicolas Delmotte (FRA), Epaillard teamed up with Cheyenne d’Auge for another significant victory, this time in the Speed Challenge for the Rent a Car Dénia Trophy CSI 3*.
Despite blazing through the course, Epaillard and the 2012 bay Selle Français mare (Guarana Champeix x Diamant de Semilly) left all the poles up for no penalties, securing the win in 63.72 seconds.

One of powerhouses of the noble sport and perhaps the country with the most wins the last few years, Ireland was not denied a spot on the podium. Jenny Rankin (IRL) and Flower (Bon Ami x Randel Z) flew to third, backed by a penalty-free performance in 67.22 seconds.
