Vejer de La Frontera, Spain – October 29, 2021 – The €25,400 Victoria Trophy CSI 2* Longines Ranking class was won by the very fast rider from Turkey, Derin Demirsoy (TUR), who had a great October Tour competing at the Sunshine Tour. The Turkish rider won this class Caprice D’Elle with almost a second in hand over another very fast pair,
Demirsoy dashed for the cash against 87 other combinations in the 1.45 speed challenge, securing the win backed by a penalty-free jump-off effort in a mere 61.83s with the 9-year-old bay Selle Français stallion (Arko III x Papillon Rouge).
Jackson Reed Stephenson (GBR) showed consistency once again with another podium finish, this time with Muna VD Bisschop (Cornet Obolensky x Nabab de Reve), crossing the finish line in 63.08 seconds for silver honors.
In third was the Danish rider Zascha Nygaard Andreasen (DEN) with the mare Glosokka (Farfelu de Muze x Kashmir van Schuttershof). The duo also registered a clean performance, rounding out the top three in 63.74 seconds.
