A total of 45 combinations entered the arena to challenge the course, with 33 of them advancing to phase two of the 1.45m contest. Despite her young age, the young Brit showed maestry aboard Poden Farms‘ 14-year-old Belgian Sport Horse mare (Asca Z x Kannan), securing the win in 24.25 seconds.

Jur Vrieling (NED) was right on the heels of the Belgian multiple-grand-prix winner, rounding out the top three with KM Chalcedon (Calido I x Raphael), being only two hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
