The German Longlist for the Upcoming Olympic Games in Tokyo

Warendorf, Germany – June 22, 2021 – The jumping committee of the German Olympic Committee for Horse Riding (DOKR) has named the so-called longlist – the extended group of candidates – for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Eight riders with twelve horses are on the list. In Tokyo, three rider-horse pairs per discipline are allowed to take part in the riding competitions for Germany. In addition, one replacement couple is allowed to travel to Japan with you. The show jumpers will fight for the medals there from August 3rd to 7th. The shortlist will be drawn up after the Nations Cup in Rotterdam / NED (July 2nd to 4th).

The following riders and horses are on the jumping longlist (in alphabetical order):

  • Daniel Deußer (GER) with Killer Queen VDM
  • Marcus Ehning (GER) with A La Carte NRW, Funky Fred and Priam du Roset
  • Christian Kukuk (GER) with Checker and Mumbai
  • Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) with Varihoka du Temple
  • Maurice Tebbel (GER) with Don Diarado
  • André Thieme (GER) with DSP Chakaria
  • Philipp Weishaupt (GER) with Asathir and Coby
  • David Will (GER) with C-Vier
