Kevin Staut & Tolede de Mescam Harcour Soar to Win €148,300 Jump-off Challenge CSI 5* at Doha

Doha, Qatar – February 26, 2021 – The second day of Commercial Bank CHI Al Shaqab, presented by Longines, provided exhilarating equestrian action, as a star-studded contingent of riders and horses competed at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab.

The eighth edition of the premier international event organized by Al Shaqab sees 85 riders from 27 countries participating in the Olympic disciplines of showjumping, dressage, and para dressage. Tomorrow will be the final day of the three-day event, which will conclude with the spectacular showjumping Grand Prix.

Kevin Staut (FRA) & Tolede de Mescam Harcour

On day two, cheering spectators watched France’s Kevin Staut (FRA), astride Tolede de Mescam Harcour (Mylord Carthago x Kouglof II), demonstrate power and speed in the CSI 5* 1.60m with Jump-off.

Simon Delestre (FRA) & Hermès Ryan

The duo cleared their obstacles in 35.87 seconds. Simon Delestre (FRA), also representing France, on Hermès Ryan (Hugo Gesmeray x Ryon d’Anzex), placed second with a time of 36.32 seconds.

Max Kühner (AUT) & Vancouver Dreams

Austria’s Max Kühner (ITA), riding Vancouver Dreams (Valentino x Stakkato), finished third in 36.84 seconds.
