Julien Epaillard & Kosmo van Hof Ter Boone Cruise to Victory at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2*

Oliva Nova, Spain – February 11, 2021 – A familiar “Flying Frenchman” was back on top of the podium on Thursday during the first week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s Spring MET II. Perhaps the winningest rider at the venue the past two years, Julien Epaillard (FRA) rode Kosmo van Hof Ter Boone towards victory in the €25,500 Speed Challenge CSI 2*.

The Frenchman and the 11-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Arko x Pachat II) were supreme in the first Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* after clearing all the 1.45m obstacles for no penalties before crossing the finish line in 58.99 seconds.

Dayro Arroyave (COL) and Baccarat Fontaine (Mylord Carthago*HN x Quartz du Vallon) registered the second fastest penalty-free effort of the contest, securing second place in 59.51 seconds.

Andres Vereecke (BEL) and Diadarco van Evendael Z ( Diamant de Semilly x Darco) claimed bronze honors, timed in 59.68 seconds.
