Madrid, Spain – February 10, 2021 – Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) has found a great supporter in Real Madrid’s superstar Sergio Ramos (ESP). The all-time great Spaniard defender had recently acquired the 8-year-old mare Eliante Z for his fellow countryman to ride and now adds more horsepower to Moya’s string with the new acquisition of Steve Guerdat‘s (SUI) winning partner Alamo.
Formerly ridden by Daniel Bluman (ISR), Alamo is going back to Europe after only only about a month after the announcement of his return to Gerardo Pasquel Mendez (MEX). The horse, owned by Patricio Pasquel Quintana (MEX), was originally ridden by Francisco Pasquel (MEX) and later on by Gerardo Pasquel Mendez (MEX). However, it was under the saddle of Steve Guerdat (SUI) that the handsome gelding became famous. The 13-year-old Royal Dutch Sport Horse (Ducth Warmblood) gelding (Ukato x Equador) was very successful with the Swiss superstar. Besides participation in FEI Jumping World Cup classes, the dynamic duo were victorious at the highest level of the sport, highlighted by a crowning moment in the $500,000 Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final at CHI Geneva 5*, where they claimed first place.
After more than two successful years with the Swiss, the black gelding had gone back to Gerardo Pasquel Mendez (MEX), staying with him for less before joining Daniel Bluman (ISR) at Over the Top Stables in September of 2020 until about a month ago.
