Zürich, Switzerland – December 17, 2020 – Martin Fuchs (SUI) has released a statement announcing that he will no longer be the rider of Silver Shine. Luigi Balieri‘s 11-year-old grey Oldenburg gelding Silver Shine (Califax x Balou du Rouet) will now be seen under the Swiss rider Niklaus Schurtenberger (SUI), who has acquired the horse from Balieri in partnership with Sascha Rikart.

Fuchs made the following statement on his website:

“I’m very pleased that Silver will stay in Switzerland. The new pair is sure to strengthen the Swiss team for the upcoming season. Thank you to my owner Luigi Baleri for giving me the opportunity to ride such a great horse. We wish Silvers new owner Sascha Rikart and Niklaus the best of luck!
