Riesenbeck, Germany – December 03, 2020 – Although it is an international competition, the International German Show Jumping Championships CSI 3* & 2* seemed to be a national competition, judging by the top three highest-placed riders in the €15,600 Paul Schockemöhle Stiftung Prize CSI 2*. That’s because Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) aboard Prinz 1293 led and all-German podium finish in the 1.45m speed contest.
Riding the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Perigueux x Escudo I), Dreher was able to post a penalty-free performance, yet still being the quickest (56.84 seconds) to claim the victory.
Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking (GER) and Chico Bonito (Chacco-Blue x Burggraaf) were almost a second slower, securing silver honors in 57.72 seconds.
Tobias Meyer (GER) and Greatest Boy – H (Carrera VDL) completed the all-German trifecta, registering no penalties and a time of 59.38 seconds.
