Business as Usual for Julien Epaillard & Usual Suspect d’Auge with Another Victory at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI 2*

Oliva Nova, Spain – October 30, 2020 – It was business as usual for Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Usual Suspect d’Auge on Friday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn Series. After winning the  €10,000 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* on Thursday the Frenchman and the 12-year-old Selle Français gelding (Jarnac x Papillon Rouge), claimed top honors again.

This time, the speedy duo advanced to and completed the second phase of the 1.45m challenge without having any penalties attributed to them, stopping the timers in 26.13 seconds.

Jérôme Guery (BEL) and Diego (Verdi TN x Gran Corrado) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second only due to their final time of 26.39 seconds.

The difference between the second and third-place finishers was even tighter with David Will (GER) and Quentucky Jolly (Nirvana V – Fabiola d’Epinette) completing their performance only three-hundredths of a second slower than the latter two.
