Julien Epaillard & Usual Suspect d’Auge Leave the Competion in the Dust at Oliva Nova

Oliva Nova, Spain – October 29, 2020 – Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Usual Suspect d’Auge triumphed in the €10,000 Grand Prix Qualifier CSI 2* yesterday during the second week of the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour‘s Autumn Series.

The speedy Frenchman rode the 12-year-old Selle Français gelding (Jarnac x Papillon Rouge) to victory by completing the 1.45m speed challenge with the fastest clear performance among the 35 entries, crossing the finish line in 66.44 seconds.

David Will (GER) and Stakkato Rouge (Stakkato x Vert et Rouge) were the closest ones, but still over a second slower, stopping the timers at 68.09 seconds.

Koen Vereecke (BEL) and Arioso du Bois (Rock’N Roll Semilly x Qredo de Paulstra) were not too far behind the latter two, earning bronze honors with no penalties and a time of 68.34 seconds.
