Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – October 04, 2020 – Pedro Veniss (BRA) and Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Jr. powered to victory in the feature class of the week, the €54,200 Grand Prix CSI 3* today at the Sunshine Tour.

Taylor Alexander (USA) & Lord Lucio

The Grand Prix for the 3rd week of the CSI 3* Autumn Tour was incredibly competitive and the jump off was electric to watch.  Taylor Alexander (USA) was on track to take the top of the podium as she did yesterday in the Small Grand Prix , but this time she was riding Lord Lucio (Legolas x Cero.)  She set a very fastclear jump-off effort in just 39.08 seconds for the other competitors to chase and then, last to go, in came Brazilian rider Pedro Veniss (BRA).

Pedro Veniss (BRA) & Boeckmanns Lord Pezi Jr.

Veniss had his sights set on victory aboard the 11-year-old bay Oldenburg stallion (Lord Pezi x Quattro 7). With complete focus he chased down Taylor’s time and finished in a spectacular  38.48 seconds, giving us a Brazilian win in this for the Tokyo Olympic Games next year.
