Riesenbeck, Germany – October 04, 2020 – Maestry prevailed once again as Marcus “The Master” Ehning (GER) rode Stargold to victory in the €26,275 Grand Prix of Riesenbeck CSI 2* this Sunday during the Riesenbeck International CSI 2*.

The German legend of the sport teamed up with the 9-year-old bay Oldenburg stallion (Stakkato Gold x Lord Weingard) for two flawless rides, the second one in 43.80 seconds.

Two Irishman attempted to take the crown away from one of the all-time greats with Eoin McMahon (IRL) and Chacon 2 (Chacco-Blue x Aventyno) coming closer. The duo also registered a double clear en route to earning silver honors due to their second effort in 44.64 seconds.

Jonathan Gordon (IRL) and Dorotheental‘s Classica (Classe x Cassini I) posted two penalty-free performances too, the decisive one in 45.55 seconds for bronze honors.
