Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – October 03, 2020 – Taylor Alexander (USA) and Ryanair de Riverland rode an amazingly fast round in the jump off to win the Big Class CSI 3* today during the third week of Sunshine Tour’s Autumn Tour.

Her round aboard the 15-year-old Selle Français stallion (Quick Star x Papillon Rouge) was neat and brave with superb riding from a sharp roll back turn from the double of uprights, to the gallop to the last two fences, highlighting her equestrian skills and seeing the duo take the top of the podium in just 36.60 seconds. This was her second win in this class here at the Autumn Tour.
Before Taylor took the lead Mariano Martinez (ESP) and Quicksilver had gone into the lead by knocking the British Rider Kayleigh Watts (GBR) off of the top spot. Riding Quicksilver, Mariano’s round really did look unbeatable and his time was 36.61sec so very close, only behind Taylor’s. This pair have proved their consistency at this level during the Tour, winning this class twice before.
In the end Kayleigh Watts (GBR) who is a regular on the podium here at Montenmedio, had to be content with third place with Kilbarron Rue (Gelvin Clover xBarron de Chantepie).
