Vejer de la Frontera, Spain – October 02, 2020 – British pair James Wilson (GBR) with Galway Bay Jed were the winners of the €24,800 Big Tour 1.45m Longines Ranking Class CSI 3* yesterday during the third week of the Sunshine Tour’s Autumn Tour.

The class was held in the main, grass arena named after David Broome and there were just over 40 entries. The Brit and the 12-year-old chestnut Anglo-European gelding (Romanov x Lux) have really improved over the Autumn Tour so far.  Yesterday, they won this one round, ‘fastest time’ class in 55.54 seconds, edging out Irish rider Conor Swail (IRL) and Flower (Bon Ami x Randel Z), who finished second with no penalties and a time of 55.63 seconds.  

Third place was claimed by Bruce Goodin (NZL) aboard Backatorps Danny V (Quasimodo Z x Lupicor), registering a penalty-free effort in 57.35 seconds.
