Eschweiler, Germany – March 17, 2020 – The organizers of the 2020 Eschweiler Jumping Festival CSI 3* have announced that their event has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

They issued the following statement on their Facebook account:

“All hope and patience were unfortunately not rewarded!

Due to the current situation around the Corona Virus, the German and regional Authorities have now put a definite stop to all events until further notice.

We are very sad, but understand and agree that the health and well-being of the entire society has first priority and everyone has to pull together to get through this tough time.

Most importantly: stay healthy everyone and don‘t forget that getting the Corona-Virus on a horses‘ back is quite unlikely.”
