
Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates – January 25, 2020 – Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Solid Gold Z won the €94,900 Al Shira’aa Longines Grand Prix CSI 4*-W, valid for the FEI World Cup™ Jumping Arab League, held yesterday during the third week of the Al Shira’aa International Horse Show CSI 4*-W/3*/2* in the United Arab Emirates.

Christian Ahlmann (GER) & Solid Gold Z
The German and the 9-year-old Oldenburg stallion (Stakkato Gold x Calvin Z) were supreme in the two-round contest, clearing all the 1.50m-1.60m obstacles they faced in their two performances en route to a clean scorecard. The duo showed both scope and speed, earning the victory in 39.16 seconds.

Abdel Saïd (EGY) & Arpege du Ru
Abdel Saïd (EGY) and Arpege du Ru (Apache d’Adriers x Quat’Sous) were just nipped at the finish line, finishing second due to their final time of 39.49 seconds.

Michael Pender (IRL) & HHS Calais
Michael Pender (IRL) and HHS Calais (Cavalier Royale x O.B.O.S. Quality 004) completed the podium with no penalties, stopping the second-round timers in 39.88 seconds.
