Guadalajara, Mexico – January 17, 2020 – Andres Torres Hernandez (MEX) and Chabacon were the winners of the $535,000 Two-Phase Class CSI 3* yesterday during the Triple Copa Scappino CSI 3* at the Guadalajara Country Club.

The Mexican and the 12-year-old bay Belgian Warmblood stallion (Chacco-Blue x Bonny Z) were supreme in the 1.45m two-phase test, overcoming 21 other combinations with the fastest clear performance in 33.99 seconds.

Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) and Jadore van het Klinkhhof (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve x Tequilla van het Noordeneinde) were right on the heels of the eventual winners, finishing second only due to their time of 34.20 seconds at the end of the second phase.

The host nation also earned bronze honors, with Miguel Torres Hernandez (MEX) and Chacendra (Chacco-Blue x Sacenta) rounding out the top three with no penalties, crossing the finish line in 35.15 seconds at the final section of the course.
