Kronenberg, The Netherlands – October 27, 2019 – Marcus Ehning (GER) and Calanda 42 won the €25,300 Parkhotel Horst Grand Prix CSI 2* last Sunday at the Equestrian Centre de Peelbergen in the Netherlands.

After settling for second in the qualifier last Friday, the German teamed up with the 11-year-old grey Hannoverian mare (Calido I x Chasseur I) kept the competition at bay in the 1.45 m jump-off challenge by blazing through the course while registering no penalties in 30.38 seconds during the tiebreaker.

Chloe Winchester (GBR) and Bo (Labor’s VDL Indorado x Quick Star) gave all the had, finishing short only due to their final time of 30.79 seconds.

Katrin Eckermann (GER) and Cornwell (Cornado NRW x Quidam de Revel) were also double clear, rounding out the top three with a jump-off time of 31.17 seconds.
