
Lanaken, Belgium – September 21, 2019 – Rob Heiligers (NED) and Cassius Clay VDV Z won the €25,2000 Zangersheide Sires of the World Grand Prix yesterday during the 25th annual FEI WBFSH World Jumping Breeding Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken, Belgium.

The Dutchman and the 9-year-old grey Zangersheide stallion (Calvino Z x Wolfgang) topped five other combinations in the jump-off by being the only ones to register two penalty-free performances, stopping the jump-off timers in 50.82 seconds.
Marlon Módolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Diesel GP du Bois Madame (Cassius x Heartbreaker) were the fastest duo in the jump-off, but their time of 41.85 seconds came at the expense of four penalty-points, enough for second place.
Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) and Chacgrano (Chacco-Blue x Grannus) completed podium, having the previous score as the previous, earning silver honors in 42.73 seconds.
