The tables have turned and the St. Tropez Pirates have sailed into the lead of the 2019 Global Champions League standings heading into the eighteenth and final leg of the season next week in New York.
The team from the French Riviera scored 17 points last week at home and now have a two-point advantage over the Shanghai Swans.
The London Knights have dropped 2 spots but are still in the hunt for the title, only eight points behind the leaders. After the win last week the Madrid in Motion are in contention too, having registered 290 points until now.
The Miami Celtics are further back, tallying 281 points after 17 legs of the championship series.
