Quarteira, Faro, Portugal – July 08, 2019 – Antonio Matos de Almeida (POR) and Volver de la Vigne won the €25,280 Grand Prix CSI 2* last Monday during the Vilamoura By Summer Series at the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre in Quarteira, Faro, Portugal.

The Portuguese and the 10-year-old bay Selle Français gelding (Diamant de Semilly x Cumano) were supreme in the 1.45m jump-off challenge, securing the victory by completing their second penalty-free effort in 42.82 seconds.

Ignacio Astolfi Lopez (ESP) and Dillan M were the runners-up, matching the winners’ clean scorecard, timed in 43.20 during the tiebreaker.

João Chuva (POR) and Antonio (Vancouver x Iroko) rounded out the top three as the only other combination that registered a double clear, going through the final timers in 44.14 seconds.
