
Arturo Navarro Reynoso (MEX) and Questina won the MXN $610,000 Longines Scappino Cup CSI 4* yesterday during the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup – Guadalajara CSI 4*-W at the Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The Mexican and the 14-year-old chestnut Oldenburg mare (Quidam’s Rubin x Quick Star) galloped towards victory in the jump-off after overcoming all the 1.50m obstacles on the Guilherme Jorge (BRA) designed course for a clean scorecard, crossing the finish line in 43.96 seconds.
Second place was claimed by Francisco Pasquel (MEX) and Naranjo (Robin II Z x Quappa), backed by two penalty-free efforts, the second one in 44.41 seconds.
Nicolas Pizarro (MEX) and Carquilot (Carinue x Quilot) completed the all-Mexican podium with no penalties and a time of 45.96 seconds during the tiebreaker.
