
Rodrigo Lambre (BRA) and Connecticut won the MXN $250,000 Clasico Scappino CSI 3* last Saturday during the Triple Copa Scappino CSI 3* at the Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The Brazilian and the 9-year-old black Oldenburg gelding flew flawlessly over all the 1.40m obstacles on the course for the second time, completing the jump-off in 37.06 seconds for top honors.
Jaime Azcarraga Romand (MEX) and Chacol (Chacco-Blue x Voltaire) also mastered all the obstacles they faced in both rounds, completing the decisive one in 38.82 seconds.
Nicolas Pizarro (MEX) aboard Pia Contra (Conthargos x Chacco-Blue) and Hector Caro (MEX) riding Craig 3 (Canturo – Celine) shared the third spot on the podium with no penalties, borth registering a final time of 39.21 seconds.
